The Tradr Guide · Getting Started
Setting Up Your Profile
Your profile is your public identity on Tradr. It's where other traders go to evaluate your track record and decide whether to follow you.
What's on your profile
- Display name and username — Your name and @handle.
- Avatar and banner — Your profile photo and background image.
- Bio — A short description of yourself and your trading style.
- Country — Where you're based.
- Follower and following counts — How many people follow you and who you follow.
- Equity badge — Your overall track record as a percentage (e.g., +12.50% means your account is up 12.5% from baseline).
- Official badge — A green checkmark, shown only on the official Tradr account. It marks the platform itself, not a level of trading skill — on Tradr, what vouches for a trader is their record.
- Stats grid — Your key metrics at a glance: win rate, profit factor, average R:R, and total trades.
- Trade history — Every trade you've posted, organized by open and closed.
Editing your profile
If you're viewing your own profile, you can tap the edit button to update your display name, bio, avatar, and banner image. Username changes are allowed once every 14 days.
Your track record is permanent
While you can update your personal info at any time, your trading history cannot be rewritten. Every trade you've posted and every outcome is permanently recorded — no hiding losses, no rewriting history.
