Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tradr (the "platform"). They explain what Tradr is, what you can and cannot do on it, and the legal basis on which we provide the service. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using Tradr, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Tradr Is

Tradr is a trading journal and social trade-idea log. Users record and publish trade ideas, build a verified track record, and follow other traders. Trade ideas are user-generated content shared for informational and educational purposes only.

Tradr is not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, portfolio manager, or a multilateral or organised trading facility. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), or any other regulator in any jurisdiction. We do not execute trades, hold client funds, manage investments, or provide personalised financial advice.

Nothing on Tradr is a public offer, a solicitation, a recommendation, or investment, financial, or trading advice. See our Risk Disclaimer for full details.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Tradr, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Risk Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tradr. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are solely responsible for confirming that using Tradr and trading the instruments you journal is legal in your jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions restrict or prohibit trading in certain instruments (including leveraged products and cryptocurrencies). We do not verify that you are permitted to trade where you live, and we accept no responsibility for your compliance with local law.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not share your account or create more than one account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are harmful to the platform or its users.

5. User Content & Trade Ideas

Trade ideas, analyses, comments, and other content posted on Tradr are created by individual users, not by Tradr. You retain ownership of your content, but grant TRADR LTD a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, distribute, and store it as part of operating the platform.

Trade ideas cannot be deleted, and closed trades cannot be altered. While a trade is open, you can adjust your stop loss and take profit, or take partials — and every action is recorded in an immutable activity timeline. This is a core feature that protects the integrity of every track record. By posting a live trade, you understand and accept that it becomes a permanent record.

6. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You agree not to post content or engage in conduct that is:

  • Misleading, fraudulent, or intended to deceive or manipulate others
  • An attempt at market manipulation, including pump-and-dump schemes or coordinated ramping
  • Presented as financial advice, a solicitation, or a guaranteed-return scheme
  • Abusive, harassing, hateful, or defamatory
  • Infringing on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • In violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Spam, unsolicited promotion, or automated scraping of the platform

Objectionable content. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour on Tradr. This includes content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that threatens or targets any person or group.

You can report any trade, comment, message, community, or account from within the app. We review every report and act on it within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules is removed. Accounts that break them repeatedly are removed from Tradr permanently.

Your trading record is separate. Removing objectionable content never changes a trade's outcome, price, or timestamps — those are permanent, and nothing we do to moderate the platform alters them.

7. No Financial Advice

Nothing on Tradr constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice, and nothing on Tradr is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. All trade ideas and content are for informational and educational purposes only.

We have no fiduciary relationship with, and owe no fiduciary duty to, any user. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their outcomes. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You should consult a qualified, independent financial adviser before making any investment decision. See our Risk Disclaimer for full details.

8. Notional Equity & Stats

Equity, PnL, track records, and all statistics displayed on Tradr are notional and informational. They do not represent real money, real positions, or real gains or losses, and they do not reflect any account managed by Tradr. A trader's Tradr equity is a scoring mechanism, not a real account balance.

9. Tradr Pro Subscriptions

Tradr Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional platform features. Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment provider. By subscribing, you agree to the recurring billing terms presented at checkout.

Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the subscription management page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes where required.

10. Intellectual Property

The Tradr platform, including its design, code, branding, and features, is the property of TRADR LTD. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our written permission.

11. Data & Privacy

Your use of Tradr is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12. Disclaimers & No Warranties

Tradr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform. In particular, we do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that any market data or price is accurate, timely, or complete, or that any content posted by users is reliable. Market data may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable, and must not be relied upon for real trading decisions.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TRADR LTD and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or trading losses, arising from or related to your use of the platform or reliance on any content posted by users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the platform is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TRADR LTD and its directors, employees, and affiliates against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your trading decisions, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour disputes, power or internet failures, outages of third-party providers, and changes in law or regulation.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Tradr at our discretion, including where you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine is harmful to the platform or its users. You may stop using Tradr, or delete your account, at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including content licences for already-published trades, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnities) will survive.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or via email. Continued use of Tradr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
