The Tradr Guide · Getting Started

What is Tradr

Tradr is a trading journal and social trade-idea log. You post trade ideas — a market, a direction, an entry, a stop loss, and a take profit — and build a verified, tamper-proof track record over time.

Every trade idea you post is locked the moment it goes live. You can't fake it, and once it's closed you can't rewrite it. Your performance is calculated automatically from real market prices — wins and losses alike.

Why Tradr exists

Most trading communities run on screenshots, unverified claims, and hindsight calls. Tradr removes all of that. When you see a trader with a 65% win rate on Tradr, that number is real — it was calculated from every single trade they've ever posted on the platform.

How it works at a high level

  1. You create an account and set up your profile.
  2. You post a trade idea by selecting a market, choosing BUY or SELL, and setting your entry, stop loss, and take profit.
  3. Tradr tracks the market price in real time. When your stop loss or take profit is hit, the trade closes automatically and your stats update.
  4. Your profile displays your complete track record — win rate, profit factor, average risk-to-reward, equity curve, and more.
  5. Other traders can follow you and see your closed trades in their feed.

The core principle

Trust through transparency. Every trade is public, every outcome is verified, and every track record is permanent.

A note on what Tradr is
