The Tradr Guide · Your Track Record
Why Your Track Record Is Permanent
This is a core principle of Tradr and the foundation of everything the platform stands for.
The problem with other platforms
On most trading communities, people can: - Delete losing trades and only show their winners. - Edit entry prices after the fact to make it look like they got a better fill. - Post trades after the move has already happened (hindsight trading). - Screenshot trades that may never have been real.
This makes it impossible to trust anyone's claimed performance. A trader showing a "90% win rate" might have deleted 50 losing trades to get there.
How Tradr solves it
On Tradr, once a live trade is activated: - The entry price, direction, market, mode, and risk are locked permanently. - The trade cannot be deleted. - The outcome is determined by real market prices, not the trader's claims. - Every win and every loss stays on your record forever.
This means when you see a trader's stats on Tradr, those numbers are real. They can't be inflated, manipulated, or cherry-picked.
What you can still do
While a trade is open, you can adjust your stop loss and take profit and take partials — and every action is written to the trade's immutable activity timeline, so nothing is hidden. You can close a trade manually. You can delete demo trades and cancel pending orders. What you cannot do is remove or rewrite a live trade once it has been activated.
Why this matters
Tradr's value proposition is trust. If traders could edit their history, the platform would be no different from any other place where people post unverified claims. A permanent track record is what makes your results mean something. No hiding losses. No rewriting history.
