Trade Statuses

Every trade on Tradr has a status that tells you exactly where it stands.

Pending

The trade has been placed but hasn't been activated yet. This happens when you use a limit or stop order. The trade is waiting for the market price to reach your entry level. Pending trades show a pulsing yellow indicator.

Once the price hits your entry, the trade automatically activates and moves to "open."

Open

The trade is live. The market is being tracked in real time against your stop loss and take profit levels. Open trades show a pulsing green indicator.

While open, the trade displays your floating (unrealized) P&L based on the current market price. You can close an open trade manually at any time during market hours.

Win

The trade closed at a profit. This usually means your take profit was hit, though it can also happen from a manual close at a favorable price. Your equity increases.

Loss

The trade closed at a loss. This usually means your stop loss was hit. Your equity decreases.

Breakeven

The trade closed at roughly the same price it opened. No meaningful gain or loss.

How trades close

Trades can close in three ways: 1. Take profit hit — Price reaches your TP level. Automatic. 2. Stop loss hit — Price reaches your SL level. Automatic. 3. Manual close — You close the trade yourself at the current market price. You can also do partial closes, closing a percentage of your position while leaving the rest open.
